Loophole (owned and operated by [Your Legal Entity Name]) ("Loophole," "we," "us") describes below how we collect, use, and share personal information when you use the Loophole desktop application and website at www.getloophole.com (the "Services").
Core commitments
- Screenshots are never saved.
- We do not log any screen content.
- User chats (your queries) may be logged for debugging.
- Meeting transcripts may be logged to power transcript features but are not used for AI training.
1) Information we collect
Account & contact information
-
Name, email address, password (hashed), and settings you provide when creating an account.
-
Subscription status, plan, and billing metadata from our payment processor (we do not store full payment card numbers).
Service usage
-
Chats/prompts you submit may be logged for debugging and support.

Screen data
- Loophole can read your screen to function. We do not log or save any screen content. Screenshots are never saved. Limited, transient processing may occur in memory to deliver your requested action. If you enable features that send snippets to cloud AI models to fulfill your request, that content is transmitted only as necessary for that request and is not saved by Loophole.
Website data
-
Standard web logs (IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, timestamps).
-
Cookies/SDKs for core functionality, analytics, and remembering preferences. You can control cookies via your browser.
2) How we use information
We use personal information to:

Communicate about updates, security notices, and transactional messages.
-
Enforce our Terms and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use meeting transcripts for AI training. We may use aggregated or de-identified information to analyze performance and improve the Services.
3) AI and third-party processing
To generate responses and perform actions you request, Loophole may route data to third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, XAI, and Anthropic. We share only what is necessary to fulfill your request. These providers process data under their terms and privacy policies. We also use service providers for infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, and payments (e.g., a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor). We require providers to protect your information and use it only as instructed.
4) Data retention
-
Chats/prompts: retained only as needed for debugging and service operation.
-
Meeting transcripts: retained only as needed to provide transcription features and quality assurance.

7) Data subject rights (EEA/UK and similar jurisdictions)
